April 8, 1996, Mr. Seong-koo Hong, the loan officer of Korea Long Term Credit Bank (KLB) in Korea, was immersed in thoughts for a long time. He analyzed the credit risk of the company requesting a loan for over one week and just completed his report. Mr. Seong-koo Hong was supposed to tell his opinion to the lending decision committee the next day. |
