In June 1996, the financial director of Finnsugar Ltd was authorized by the management group to find out what alternatives there were to renew the information systems of Finnsugar division. Three systems are described, and the task of a student is to decide which system to adopt. This case could be used as a teaching material in the investment planning and decision making -courses. It works as an example of a decision-making situation requiring more of the strategic viewpoint and less of the
calculation techniques. |
