Abstract:
Background and objective of the study I have chosen the topic because of my personal interest in the subject and since it has been recently in the headlines. I believe that management will be more and more studied and therefore also better understood by managers. The objective of the research was to find out strengths and weaknesses of American management style in Finland.

Methodology and the theoretical framework The study is based on my experiences from American companies. I have been analyzing management literature and articles and compared them to my experiences. I have been referencing managerial gurus and other management researchers and then added my own experiences to the research.

Findings As a result, I have listed strengths and weaknesses that American management style faces in Finland
