The S Group which consists of the cooperative societies and SOK with their subsidiaries have
held a dominant position on the Finnish market for many years. In 2005 part of the co-operative
markets decided to leave the S Group and to start independent operations. The case deals with
the perspective of the individual market manager as well as the management of S Group. |
