Onninen Oy had had some bad experiences with acquisitions recently. Timo Peltola, the Managing Director, therefore formed an acquisition team, which consisted of 12 managers of Onninen, and the team started preparations for the Huber - Onninen merger in early September. On Friday 29.10.1993, the general public was informed of the reorganization of the Finnish HEPAC wholesale industry through the acquisition of Huber by Onninen. |
